  • Understanding Velocity: Speed and Direction Explained
Velocity is made up of two things:

    1. Speed: This tells you how fast an object is moving.

    2. Direction: This tells you which way the object is moving.

Think of it like this: If you're driving a car at 60 miles per hour, you have a speed of 60 mph. But if you don't know which direction you're going (north, south, east, west), you don't know the velocity. You need both speed and direction to understand the complete movement of the car.
