  • Planetary Orbits: Understanding Solar System Rotation
    Planets revolve around the Sun in a counter-clockwise direction when viewed from above the Earth's North Pole.

    This is also known as prograde motion. It's important to note that all planets in our solar system revolve in this direction, with the exception of Venus and Uranus, which have retrograde rotations, meaning they spin on their axis in the opposite direction.
