  • Dwarf Planets: Beyond Pluto - What You Need to Know
    No, Pluto is not the only dwarf planet that orbits the Sun. In fact, there are five dwarf planets officially recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU):

    * Pluto

    * Eris

    * Makemake

    * Haumea

    * Ceres

    There are also many other celestial bodies that fit the IAU's definition of a dwarf planet but haven't been officially recognized yet. So, Pluto is just one member of a larger group of dwarf planets in our solar system.
