The number of stars visible from the northern hemisphere depends on your location, atmospheric conditions, and light pollution. Under very good conditions, with dark, clear skies and no light pollution, you can expect to see about 4,500 stars from the northern hemisphere, or about half of all the stars in the sky. This includes stars that are not visible to the naked eye but can be seen with telescopes.
