  • Understanding Speed: What Happens When Speed Doubles?
The speed of a moving object is doubled.

    Here's why:

    * Speed is a measure of how fast something is moving. It's calculated by dividing the distance traveled by the time it took to travel that distance.

    * Doubling the speed means the object covers twice the distance in the same amount of time.

    For example:

    * If a car travels at 10 meters per second and then doubles its speed, it will travel at 20 meters per second.
