    The rate of change of momentum is measured by force.

    Here's why:

    * Momentum (p) is defined as the product of mass (m) and velocity (v): p = mv

    * Force (F) is the rate of change of momentum over time: F = Δp/Δt

    Therefore, if you calculate the change in momentum over a specific time interval, you are essentially calculating the force acting on the object during that time.
