  • Infrared vs. Radio Waves: Do They Travel at the Same Speed?
Yes, both infrared radiation and radio waves are forms of electromagnetic radiation and therefore travel at the same speed in a vacuum: the speed of light, approximately 299,792,458 meters per second (m/s).

While they share the same speed, they differ in their wavelength and frequency. Infrared radiation has a shorter wavelength and higher frequency than radio waves.
