  • Sunlight Exposure for Plants: Desert vs. Other Environments
The answer is desert. Here's why:

    * Desert: Deserts receive the most direct sunlight because there is little to no cloud cover and very little vegetation to block the sun's rays.

    * Woodland: Woodlands have a canopy of trees that filter the sunlight, reducing the amount that reaches the forest floor.

    * Forest: Forests have a dense canopy of trees that block out most of the sunlight, creating a shaded environment.

    * Ocean floor: Sunlight doesn't penetrate very far into the ocean. The vast majority of the ocean floor is in complete darkness.

Therefore, deserts receive the most sunlight compared to other environments.
