    Tornadoes, despite their destructive power, are not known for creating significant landforms on their own. However, they can leave distinct marks on the landscape:

    * Scour marks: Strong winds can erode the soil, leaving behind depressions or grooves in the ground.

    * Tree damage: Twisted and uprooted trees are a common sign of a tornado's path.

    * Building destruction: This is the most visible impact, with tornadoes able to completely demolish structures.

    Indirect Impacts:

    * Flooding: Tornadoes can cause heavy rainfall, leading to flash floods and water erosion.

    * Erosion and sedimentation: The debris and soil moved by tornadoes can be deposited in new locations, altering the landscape.

    It's important to note:

    * Landforms are typically shaped by larger forces: Tectonic plates, erosion, and weathering are the primary drivers of landform formation.

    * Tornadoes can exacerbate existing conditions: For example, they can accelerate erosion in areas already prone to it.

    While a single tornado may not carve out a canyon or form a mountain, the cumulative impact of many tornadoes over time can contribute to changes in the landscape.
