  • NYC & NY State: Unseasonably Warm Winter & Lack of Snow - Climate Change Impact
New York city and state typically receive several inches of snow but wintery mix of rainfall has many New York asking 'Where is the snow'?

Due to warmer temperatures caused by climate change, New York state is seeing a different precipitation pattern this winter season compared to previous years.

While it is unusual that there has been significant accumulation to date , it doesn't mean that New York state won't see any more of it. Weather patterns can still shift and bring colder temperature and potential snowfall in the coming weeks. Climate trends might indicate a change in seasonal patterns but weather condition can still be unpredictable and subject to fluctuations
