  • Why Is Your Shower Curtain Billowing? Causes & Solutions
There are a couple of reasons why your shower curtain might be billowing in on you.

    1. The shower curtain is too long. If the shower curtain is too long, it will pool on the floor and create a dam that prevents water from draining properly. This can cause the water to back up and fill the tub, which will eventually cause the shower curtain to billow in.

    2. The shower curtain is not properly weighted. Shower curtains are typically weighted at the bottom with a hem or a weighted strip. This weight helps to keep the shower curtain in place and prevents it from billowing in. If the shower curtain is not properly weighted, it will be more likely to billow in.

    3. The shower curtain rod is not installed correctly. The shower curtain rod should be installed at least 6 inches above the top of the bathtub. This will help to prevent water from splashing over the top of the shower curtain and causing it to billow in.

Here are some tips to help prevent your shower curtain from billowing in:

    1. Choose a shower curtain that is the right length for your tub.

    2. Make sure the shower curtain is properly weighted.

    3. Install the shower curtain rod at least 6 inches above the top of the bathtub.
