  • Global Ant Population: A Trillion-Strong Estimate
It is estimated that there are approximately 10^16 or 10 quadrillion ants on Earth. This is a very rough estimate, as it is nearly impossible to count them accurately. However, based on various indirect methods and extrapolations, scientists have come up with this immense figure that greatly surpasses the total population of humans on the planet. Ants are incredibly successful and resilient organisms, and their numbers are so large that they are said to be the most numerous animals on Earth.
