  • Earth's Layers: A Comprehensive Guide to the Crust, Mantle, Core
The Earth has four main layers:

    1. Crust: The thin, outermost layer, composed of solid rock.

    2. Mantle: The thickest layer, mostly solid rock but behaving like a very viscous fluid over long periods.

    3. Outer Core: A liquid layer composed mostly of iron and nickel.

    4. Inner Core: A solid ball of iron and nickel at the center of the Earth, despite the intense heat, due to immense pressure.
