  • Iron and Nickel: The Primary Metals of Earth's Outer Core
    The Earth's outer core is primarily composed of two metals:

    1. Iron (Fe): This is the most abundant element in the outer core, making up around 88% of its mass.

    2. Nickel (Ni): This element makes up about 5.5% of the outer core's mass.

    While these are the two main components, trace amounts of other elements, such as sulfur and silicon, are also believed to be present.
