The entire contiguous United States is on the North American Plate. However, there are a few smaller landmasses that belong to the US that are on different plates:

* Hawaii: Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii is part of the Pacific Plate.

* Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands: These islands are on the Caribbean Plate.

So, while the mainland US is all on the North American Plate, these US territories are on different plates.
