Albedo is the measure of how much solar radiation is reflected by a surface. A black surface absorbs almost all of the light that hits it, while a white surface reflects most of it. Water reflects some light, but not as much as a white surface. A mirror reflects almost all of the light that hits it, so it has the highest albedo.
