    The tallest mountain in the Canary Islands is Teide, located on the island of Tenerife. Teide is a dormant volcano and the highest peak in Spain, rising 3,718 meters (12,198 feet) above sea level. It is also one of the largest volcanoes in the world in terms of volume and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
