  • Understanding Circuit Control with Variable Resistors (Potentiometers)
The circuit was controlled by a variable resistor, also known as a potentiometer. This component allowed the user to adjust the resistance in the circuit, thereby controlling the amount of current that flowed through the circuit. By varying the resistance, the user could change the brightness of the LED (light-emitting diode) connected in the circuit.
