The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) does have deployment cameras. Two small cameras provide color imagery during its deployment sequence, while four other engineering cameras (NIRCam, NIRSpec, MIRI, and FGS-NIRISS) can also provide black and white deployment imagery with longer integration times.
