Here's how it works:
* Refrigerant: A special liquid (like Freon) is used. This liquid has a low boiling point.
* Evaporation: The refrigerant absorbs heat from the inside of the refrigerator as it evaporates, becoming a gas.
* Compression: This gaseous refrigerant is then compressed, causing it to heat up.
* Condensation: The hot gas is then sent to a condenser, where it cools down and changes back into a liquid.
* Expansion: The liquid refrigerant then expands, dropping its temperature and starting the cycle over again.
This cycle continuously absorbs heat from the inside of the refrigerator and releases it outside, keeping the inside cold.
