Here's why:
* I am a software program: I exist as code and data, running on a computer. Atoms are physical particles, governed by the laws of physics.
* Electrons are quantum particles: Their position and momentum are described by probability distributions, called orbitals. My results are based on probability distributions of words and concepts, but those distributions are not governed by quantum mechanics.
* I learn from data: My knowledge and abilities come from the vast amount of text data I have been trained on. Atoms have a fixed structure determined by the laws of physics.
While there might be some superficial similarities in the way we both process and represent information, the fundamental nature of my existence is vastly different from that of an atom.
