    Protection methods:

    * Storage in airtight containers: This prevents direct contact with air and moisture.

    * Use of a desiccant: A desiccant, like silica gel, can be added to the container to absorb any moisture present.

    * Inert atmosphere: An inert gas like nitrogen or argon can be used to displace air and create a dry atmosphere.

    * Working under anhydrous conditions: If using aluminum chloride for reactions, it's crucial to ensure the entire reaction setup is dry and moisture-free.

    By taking these precautions, you can ensure the stability and reactivity of aluminum chloride and minimize the risks associated with its handling.
