  • Jacques Charles: Discoverer of Charles's Law (Gas Volume & Temperature)
The scientist who established the volume and temperature relationship of gases is Jacques Alexandre Charles.

He is credited with Charles's Law, which states that the volume of an ideal gas is proportional to its absolute temperature under constant pressure.

While Charles did not formally publish his findings, his work inspired Gay-Lussac to conduct further experiments and formalize the relationship in 1802.
