  • Motor Oil vs. Gasoline Density: Which is Denser?
    Gasoline.

The density of an object is mass per unit volume. The mass of an object is how much matter it has, and the volume of an object is how much space it takes up. Motor oil has a higher mass than gasoline, but it also takes up more space. This means that gasoline is less dense than motor oil.
