Setraline hydrochloride, sold under the brand name Zoloft among others, is a medication of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class that is primarily used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. It may also be used to treat anxiety related to bipolar disorder.
