According to the Hazard Communication Standard, each hazardous chemical label must include the following elements:

- Product identifier: The name of the hazardous chemical.

- Signal word: "Danger" or "Warning" to indicate the severity of the hazard.

- Hazard statements: A brief statement of the hazards associated with the chemical, such as "Flammable liquid" or "Toxic to humans."

- Precautionary statements: Instructions on how to safely handle and store the chemical, such as "Keep away from heat" or "Wear protective clothing."

- Pictogram: A graphic symbol that conveys the type of hazard associated with the chemical.

- Supplier identification: The name, address, and telephone number of the manufacturer or supplier of the chemical.
