  • The Science of Color Creation: How We Perceive & Generate Hues
Inventing new colors is not something that scientists typically do. Colors are a property of light and are determined by the wavelength of the light. The visible spectrum of light consists of all the colors that we can see, and it is a fixed range of wavelengths. Therefore, it is not possible to invent new colors in the sense of creating new wavelengths of light.

However, there are ways to create new shades and variations of colors by mixing different wavelengths of light or by using pigments and dyes. Artists, designers, and color experts use various techniques to create new color combinations and effects, but they do not invent new colors in the scientific sense.
