  • Understanding DNA Base Pairing: The Key to Genetic Structure
DNA bases are connected by hydrogen bonds.

    Here's how it works:

    * Adenine (A) always pairs with thymine (T), forming two hydrogen bonds.

    * Guanine (G) always pairs with cytosine (C), forming three hydrogen bonds.

These hydrogen bonds are weak individually, but collectively they create a strong and stable bond between the two strands of DNA, forming the famous double helix structure.
