  • Understanding Ecological Communities: Definition & Ecosystem Relationship
A collection of different organisms living in an ecosystem is called a community.

    Here's why:

    * Ecosystem: A complete system of living organisms (biotic factors) and their non-living environment (abiotic factors).

    * Community: All the populations of different species that live and interact within an ecosystem.

So, a community is a subset of an ecosystem, focusing on the living organisms within it.
