Photosynthesis: Understanding How Plants Create Their Own Food
The only organisms that prepare their own food are plants.
They do this through a process called photosynthesis, where they use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to produce glucose (sugar) for energy. This process is unique to plants and certain types of bacteria and algae.
