  • DNA Base Pairing: A & T, G & C - Understanding the Basics
    The two bases of DNA that go together are:

    * Adenine (A) and Thymine (T)

    * Guanine (G) and Cytosine (C)

    This pairing is known as complementary base pairing. Adenine always pairs with thymine, and guanine always pairs with cytosine. This pairing is essential for DNA replication and transcription.
