  • Ribosomes: The Cellular Factories That Produce Enzymes
    The organelle that produces enzymes is the ribosome.

    Here's why:

    * Ribosomes are the protein synthesis machinery of the cell. They read the genetic code from messenger RNA (mRNA) and use it to assemble amino acids into proteins.

    * Enzymes are a type of protein that acts as a catalyst, speeding up chemical reactions within the cell.

    While other organelles might contain enzymes, they are produced by ribosomes. For example, lysosomes contain enzymes that break down waste materials, but these enzymes were originally produced by ribosomes.
