    Scientists group living things into three domains:

    * Bacteria: Single-celled organisms without a nucleus.

    * Archaea: Single-celled organisms without a nucleus, but with different biochemistry than bacteria.

    * Eukarya: Organisms with cells that have a nucleus.

    This classification system is called the three-domain system.
