    Two organisms that can release oxygen are:

    1. Plants: Plants, through the process of photosynthesis, use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to produce glucose (sugar) and oxygen. They release the oxygen as a byproduct.

    2. Cyanobacteria: These are single-celled organisms that also perform photosynthesis. They were responsible for the initial oxygenation of the Earth's atmosphere billions of years ago.
