    Enzymes are examples of proteins.

    Here's why:

    * Proteins are large, complex molecules made up of chains of amino acids.

    * Enzymes are biological catalysts that speed up chemical reactions in living organisms.

    * The vast majority of enzymes are proteins. Their specific shapes and active sites allow them to bind to specific molecules and facilitate chemical reactions.

    While there are a few exceptions (like ribozymes, which are catalytic RNA molecules), proteins are the primary building blocks of enzymes.
