  • Sperm Cells: The Largest Cells in the Human Male Body - Length Explained
The largest cell in the male human body is the sperm cell.

While it's not the largest cell by volume (that would be the nerve cells), it's the largest in terms of length. A sperm cell can be up to 60 micrometers long, which is about 10 times the size of a typical human cell.

It's important to note that the sperm cell's head is relatively small, containing the genetic material. The majority of its length is taken up by the tail, which provides the propulsion for the sperm cell to travel towards the egg.
