  • Ribosomes: The Protein Synthesis Factories of the Cell
The structure that makes proteins using coded instructions from the nucleus is the ribosome.

    Here's how it works:

    * DNA in the nucleus contains the genetic code. This code is transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA).

    * mRNA travels out of the nucleus to the cytoplasm.

    * Ribosomes attach to the mRNA. They read the code and use it to assemble amino acids into a specific protein sequence.

So, ribosomes are the protein synthesis factories of the cell, following the instructions provided by the nucleus.
