  • Understanding Cell Interphase: The Resting Phase of Cell Growth
    Most of the human body cells are in interphase.

    Interphase is the longest phase of the cell cycle, and it's where the cell grows, performs its normal functions, and replicates its DNA in preparation for division. Only a small percentage of cells are actively undergoing mitosis (cell division) at any given time.
