  • DNA and RNA Base Pairing: Understanding A-U and G-C
    The base pairing between DNA and RNA follows the following rules:

    * Adenine (A) in DNA pairs with Uracil (U) in RNA.

    * Guanine (G) in DNA pairs with Cytosine (C) in RNA.

    This is slightly different from DNA-DNA pairing where adenine pairs with thymine (T). RNA uses uracil instead of thymine.

    So, the base pairing is:

    * A-U

    * G-C
