  • Organ Systems: How Organs Collaborate for Bodily Functions
    A group of organs working together to perform a particular job in the body is called an organ system.

    Here are some examples of organ systems in the human body:

    * Digestive system: Breaks down food and absorbs nutrients.

    * Circulatory system: Transports blood, oxygen, and nutrients throughout the body.

    * Respiratory system: Allows for gas exchange (oxygen in, carbon dioxide out).

    * Nervous system: Controls and coordinates body functions.

    * Musculoskeletal system: Provides support, movement, and protection.

    * Endocrine system: Produces and regulates hormones.

    * Excretory system: Removes waste products from the body.

    * Reproductive system: Enables reproduction.

    Each organ system is made up of different organs that work together to carry out a specific function vital for the body's overall health and survival.
