  • RNA vs. DNA: Similarities in Structure & Function
Here are two ways RNA is like DNA:

    1. Both are nucleic acids: RNA and DNA are both polymers made up of nucleotides. Each nucleotide consists of a sugar, a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base.

    2. Both store and transmit genetic information: Both DNA and RNA play crucial roles in storing and transmitting genetic information. DNA contains the blueprint for an organism, while RNA carries the instructions for protein synthesis.
