  • Sunlight Wavelength: Understanding the Color of the Sun
The sun mostly transmits yellow-green light, with a wavelength around 500 nanometers. This is why the sun appears yellow to us, even though it emits all colors of the rainbow.

While the sun emits light across the entire electromagnetic spectrum, it peaks in the visible light spectrum, specifically around 500 nanometers.
