    Why "Big Bang" is not an explosion:

    * The Big Bang wasn't an explosion *into* a pre-existing space. It was an expansion of *space itself*, with all matter and energy expanding outwards from a single point.

    * There was no center of the explosion. It was a simultaneous expansion everywhere, with the universe expanding outward from every point within it.
