  • Mars Satellites: Exploring the Red Planet with Orbital Missions
The planet with a satellite circling and sending back information is Mars.

There are many satellites orbiting Mars, including:

    * Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO): This spacecraft has been orbiting Mars since 2006, sending back high-resolution images, studying the Martian atmosphere, and searching for signs of past or present life.

    * Mars Odyssey: This spacecraft has been orbiting Mars since 2001, mapping the planet's surface and studying its geology and climate.

    * Mars Express: This spacecraft is a joint mission between the European Space Agency and Russia, and it has been orbiting Mars since 2003, studying the planet's atmosphere, surface, and subsurface.

    * Maven: This spacecraft has been orbiting Mars since 2014, studying the planet's upper atmosphere and how it is being lost to space.

    * Curiosity and Perseverance rovers: While these are not technically satellites, they are on the surface of Mars and sending back information as well.

These are just a few examples of the many satellites currently orbiting Mars and sending back valuable data.
