  • When Can You See Stars? Understanding Star Visibility
Stars appear at night, although some very bright stars, like Sirius, can be seen in the twilight hours before sunrise or after sunset.

    Here's why:

    * The Sun's Light: The Sun is so bright that its light overwhelms the much fainter light of stars during the day.

    * Earth's Rotation: As the Earth rotates, different parts of the planet face the Sun. The side facing the Sun experiences daytime, while the opposite side experiences nighttime.

So, the next time you're looking up at the night sky and wondering why you can't see any stars during the day, remember that they're still there, just hidden by the Sun's brilliance!
