  • Why Can't We See Stars During the Day?
The stars are still there during the daytime! They just aren't visible to us because the sun's light is so much brighter. It's like trying to see a firefly in the middle of a sunny day.

    Think of it this way:

    * Sunlight: The sun is incredibly bright, and its light scatters through the Earth's atmosphere, filling the sky with a brilliant blue.

    * Starlight: Stars are much fainter, and their light is overwhelmed by the sunlight during the day.

If we could magically turn off the sun, we would see the stars in the daytime just as clearly as we do at night!
