Pluto's moon, Charon, is about half the size of Pluto itself. This makes Charon unusually large compared to the moons of other planets in our solar system. In fact, some astronomers even consider Pluto and Charon to be a double dwarf planet system, as they orbit a common center of gravity that lies between them.
