  • Why Does the Sun Rise in the East? - Explained
The sun appears to rise in the east and set in the west due to the Earth's rotation.

    Here's why:

    * Earth's Rotation: Our planet rotates on its axis from west to east. This means that as the Earth spins, the eastern side of the Earth faces the sun first, making it appear as though the sun is rising from the east.

    * Perspective: It's all about our perspective on Earth. We're standing on a rotating planet, so the sun appears to move across the sky, while in reality, it's the Earth that's moving.

Important Note: The sun doesn't actually "come from" the east. It's a star that is much larger than Earth and does not move around us. It's Earth's rotation that creates the illusion of the sun rising and setting.
