  • Pluto: The Solar System's Most Inclined Orbit - Explained
The planet that orbits farthest from the ecliptic is Pluto.

While Pluto is no longer considered a planet, it still holds the record for the most inclined orbit out of all the dwarf planets and planets in our solar system.

    Here's why:

    * The Ecliptic: The ecliptic is the plane of Earth's orbit around the Sun. All the planets in our solar system generally orbit close to this plane.

    * Pluto's Inclination: Pluto's orbit is tilted at a significant angle of 17.1 degrees relative to the ecliptic. This means it swings quite far above and below the plane where the other planets orbit.

However, it's worth noting that Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet, and there are other dwarf planets and even some asteroids that have even more inclined orbits than Pluto.
