The Earth is actually one of the planets that revolve around the Sun.
It was once believed that the Earth was the center of the universe and everything else revolved around it. This is called the geocentric model, and it was the prevailing theory for centuries.
However, Nicolaus Copernicus later proposed the heliocentric model, which correctly stated that the Sun is the center of our solar system, and all the planets, including Earth, revolve around it.
This model has been confirmed through centuries of scientific observations and is the accepted view today.
